Kenneth Laidlow serves as a Board Member for the Local Development Corporation of Crown Heights, Inc., bringing over two decades of specialized experience in urban infrastructure and
city planning. A retired New York City Planner, Kenneth spent 23 years designing the frameworks that keep the city moving, from bicycle networks to pedestrian safety improvements
across Brooklyn and Queens.
With a Master’s in Urban Planning from New York University and BA in Economics from Hunter College, Kenneth combines technical data analysis with a passion for community functionality. At LDCCH, he focuses his expertise on the Housing Committee, where he works
to ensure that local development is both strategic and accessible. A long-time Brooklyn resident, Kenneth is dedicated to utilizing his professional background to advocate for a safer, more
efficient, and more equitable Crown Heights.
